Bob Kleinpeter has been honored by selection to Louisiana Super Lawyers every year since its first edition, published as a supplement to Louisiana Life magazine in the January, 2007 issue. Candidates are grouped according to firm size and their areas of legal practice. Final selections are limited to the top 5% of the total number of lawyers in the state.

Bob is interviewed and quoted extensively in the March 22, 2010 issue of the Advocate featuring a rebuttal to the U. S. Chamber of Commerce’s survey ranking Louisiana among states with the worst lawsuit climates. Bob points out that more than 90 percent of all the respondents in the survey released by the U. S. Chamber of Commerce were senior attorneys for corporations and that the survey is flawed because it violates the elementary social science principle that evaluation of legal system performance should be based on input from both sides to disputes.

December 2009 Aggregate Settlements - The Ethical Ramification of Aggregate Settlements
Bob co-presented with Elizabeth A. Alston on ethical considerations associated with aggregate settlements. This discussion at the Louisiana Association for Justice Last Chance Seminar explored possible conflicts of interest that can arise in a variety of legal settings.

June 2009 Great Debate - Destin, FL
The Louisiana State Bar Association asked Bob to speak in a debate format on the merits of judicial election of judges as opposed to their political appointment.
